My dogs are spoiled brats, but we all know that.
If you have never tried this, I will explain. The pattern paper above with the pink background and red-ish flowers with green leaves was a scrap Gulfsprite sent me in my January MailArt package. Something Christy has taught before is to use the pattern in a paper or a photo, and extend it with paint, pencils, whatever and your imagination. This wasn't what I intended when I started with the collage, but now I like it. The left side of the journal needs some work, but I think we are calling the right side done. To make the paint line straight across the page, I used an old credit card as a guide, moving it along. Just remember to wipe off any paint that gets on it or you end up transferring paint as you place it.
Our wind chill factor is below zero today. I don't know how far, once I hear zero my brain freezes. We are staying home.
