Gracie, last night, wedging her body between me and Jake |

Jake then stretched out and rested his head on her thigh. I was laughing so hard I almost couldn't take the pic |
The dogs have been characters of late. More so than usual. Grace is clinging to me for attention late in the day. Her age is showing.
I have been bouncing around in the art journals, doing whatever turns my crank. Sometimes a drawing will be painted, sometimes not. I am not sharing all of it because I find if I let a page sit for a day or two, I am not always pleased with it. Honestly, I think this is my subconscious way of working off the stress of the holidays. We all have it. Our family dynamic is complicated by an addict, and it weighs heavily on me in December. So I hug my dogs, and try to stay busy. It is what it is.
