First of all, for whatever reason art journal pages are taking me days instead of hours. The giant headed girl who is soooo out of proportion was a 3 day agony. The black bird was repainted 3 times with acrylic, but I did the leaves and branches out of his head with watercolor. He also has Arteza brush watercolor markers around his body, then I added Tim Holtz tissue paper for interest.
Also. It's that time of year. I say this every freaking year, that I am not going to get so busy that I can't enjoy each day and here we are: jammed packed to mid-December. Actually, all the way to December 21st. I have several pages sketched out in journals to paint. I have a 20x20 canvas halfway prepped for the 2nd project in Absolutely Abstracts. There is a mental list (oh, really???) of projects I would like to try.
Before we all know it, it will be January and we can once again relax. Wait. Nope, 2020. Election. Impeachment. Sigh.
