Rain, Rain, and more rain

At the last minute without thinking, I added stenciling in light green and white. Instant hate.

So covered it up again and yes, this is done

Her muzzle is starting to turn white. My girl is 11 and slowing down

Saw a bunch of these on Pinterest.
Gulfsprite had a free Live Stream on YouTube last Saturday night, about painting a face in layers of acrylic. It is out there if you so desire to see it. I did 3 girls in the color palette Christy chose, painting along with here. She did warn us in a message prior to the event that we needed heavy gesso on the pages, and to make lines in it for texture. It was a fast 90 minutes of work.

Pinterest has become interesting again. I don't know if my feed has changed, or a bunch of new people are on it, but I am inspired to try something every time I look. The kind of Zen tangle meditative spread started with collage of old text pages, then stenciling with a light blue, light green and a light yellow. Let that dry completely. I made a template for the long, rounded shape to trace, then free handed everything else. A lot of the black filling in around circles is a Tombow marker. The doodles were all done with the Uniball pen, just in case I decided to add some water colors. Which I might do.

Stay safe. I have washed my hands so many times that they are raw, so using Cocoa butter on them at night. What a world we live in.
