30 days to go and counting

Added water colors and pen work. Leaving the face and hair
I'm not even sure I have photographed all of the completed pages, or if they all make it to the blog. It's as if my mind is on autopilot. Get stressed? Done with the house and laundry? Grab a journal and do something, anything. Feel like stress eating? Head to the stack of journals to take my mind off of food because I am NOT HUNGRY!!!

Ya know, this would be easier if the weather would cooperate. I think, on that front, it is about to change. My yards are looking kind of long. I charged the battery for the small push mower last night, and will start mowing the backyard either today or tomorrow. At least with yard work I get to move from the house to the yard.

Talked to some people who take my exercise classes yesterday. Some are making face masks, some are working jig saw puzzles. There is a large senior community in the next town, where everyone has their own home, but the houses are close together. They also have an online community bulletin board type deal, so someone came up with the idea that at 11am every morning, all would stand in their driveways and wave at one another. Yesterday a group of about 10 decided "oh, it's okay to sit outside", and started to come together in one driveway with lawn chairs. Someone took a few pics with their phone, and posted it to the community online board. Yep. The social director promptly told everyone they were breaking the law, and don't do it again. They were not only risking their own health, but the health and welfare of the entire community.

Stupid is as stupid does. Forest Gump

You just can't fix stupid. Me

I am amazed that there are thinking adults, you know they have brains, who just don't get it. When you hear the President say that 100,000 deaths from this pandemic is acceptable, to him, and that means he has done a good job, you need to ask yourself if I will be one of those 100,000.  Stay home. Stay safe. Trust no one or nothing. My new mottos.
