On another tangent

9x12 Canson Mixed Media journal, left hand side

Same journal, right hand side reworked to add continuity

Painted pages black, added cut outs

Finished

Unload your thoughts upside down and messy. No one can read it and you feel better

Dylusions 8x8 journal

Original art from Gulfsprite

I extended Christy's flowers, used a stencil she made, her homemade washi tape
I really have been busy. Bouncing from journal to journal while pages dry. That beautiful greenish/teal paint is an old bottle of Tim Holtz Pine Needles, and it was giving me fits. Application was okay, but it just would not dry. Took the heat gun to it, and all of my pens then skipped on the paint. Not a great amount left in the bottle, but it's going in the trash. Life is too short to mess with old acrylic paints. Not worth the effort.

Too wet and cold for the dog park, so today will also be an art day. Dogs are not happy. For whatever reason, I am feeling the cold more than normal this winter. Actually I am pretty sure the reason is old age......smile.
