Not sure if I am painting this or leaving it |
I have a list of artsy projects I want to do, and it keeps getting longer. These long days of only doing art journaling and taking the dogs to the park are over starting tomorrow. I can return to work after the cataract surgery. Dang it. I do miss the exercise when I am unable to do it, as my body requires the movements to stay pain free, or less painful. We also have frigid air moving in, so less outdoor time due to mama doesn't like to freeze at the open park.
I have returned to sketching at night, painting in the daylight hours. Having a choice of pages to paint is very appealing, and I am doing my best to mix up what I draw. Right now there are 2 girls, a vase of flowers, and a single crow. I feel the need to stretch the creative muscle, and just stop fearing what comes out. That is the reason for erasers, and trust me, I own several!
One side note: the girl with brown hair and the blue birds was done with Arteza watercolor brush pens. The sky and ground are acrylic paint, but everything else is pen. I am liking these more and more. Tracie! You need these. Yes, you do. Smile.
