Jake, making sure I won't sneak off. Note he is on top of several blankets. |
It was a very cold, windy, and damp Thanksgiving. Cathy and I had planned on going to eat at "the Trough". In case you have never heard of that restaurant, it is really Golden Corral. But yesterday morning we were blatantly honest with each other and realized neither one of us wanted to be around a large herd of hungry old people. We stayed home.
I did some cleaning, and put out my Santa collection which is my way of decorating for Christmas. Then I worked in 2 art journals. I had stopped at Hobby Lobby on Wednesday and purchased a few new scrapbook papers. They are the greens and pinks, roses in the above collage pages.
New stress release exercise is to put the pencil in my left (non-dominant hand) and draw circles, lines. Then color those in with Marabu crayons, smearing the pigment with a finger. It can be your middle finger if you are watching the news.....just saying. I then added some doodles with gel pens. When cleaning the art studio last week, I found the basket that contained the Marabu and Gel pens. That was what prompted the fun page. Yeah, I need more supplies. Uh huh.
