While I have been off the net, Blogger updated their interface and now I don't know quite how to do anything. Please bear with me on this, because one of the side effects of 4 hour long major surgery is that you have "anaesthesia brain" for about 2 weeks. The cure is to keep moving, doing stuff, and drinking water. This is driving me nuts, because I looked up how to spell ANAESTHESIA, this is correct, and Blogger says nope.
Onward. I started this double page spread in an old Dylusions journal the week before surgery. It's from Christy Sobolewski videos that are free on YouTube of a girl with tropical style fish swimming in the background. This is all acrylic paint, and I would love to finish it. Just not quite there yet.
The gorgeous beagle is my friend Lynn's dog, Sadie. She stayed with me for 3 days after I came home, and Sadie did her level best to take care of my dog needs. She loved gentle belly rubs, lying on my bed binge watching The Crown, and dog treats. She is a good girl, and is welcome back at any time. We bonded.
Will try to do some journaling this weekend. On one hand I find it hard to believe I've been home a week tomorrow. On the other hand, it is a long, long haul to the end of October. Recovery must be slow and steady, and trust me, it will be. Take care of you.
Linda
