It was a dark and stormy night........
All night long. Good Grief! I had two terrified dogs last night. That is not normally the case. Usually it's just Gracie, and she may pant excessively for a bit, then settle down. But Jake was also nervous, and that is a first. Resorted to calming dog treats and that helped. There is now a large selection of calming additives and treats on the market at larger pet stores, and at Chewy.com. Check it out if you need something.
Watched a free video on Dina's blog about cannibalizing old art journal pages and pieces of art to make new art, in particular tags. I have bins of scrap pieces. Stuff left over from gel plate adventures, the underpaper off the desk, scrap book papers, etc. So that was what I did yesterday afternoon. Today the plan is to work in the Dina black journal. I have found that the larger page space is helping with the collage aspect of my journaling. Besides, it is just fun. And it takes me away from the news. Far away. Stay safe.
