We did 2 girls at once in that stream. Daniel Smith watercolors

Gracie yesterday, trying to figure out why we aren't going to the park
I had my second cataract surgery yesterday. It went well, but this eye is (of course it is) reacting differently than the first. It itches. It is weeping, and you can't wash the eye or get water in it for at least a week. I also think, but I'm not sure, that my eyelashes are half the size they were.

Life goes on.

There was not much I could do yesterday. The dogs were home, and they wanted to go to the dog park. Yeah, no. You can't drive for the first 24 hours after surgery, and besides, you don't feel like doing much. I had on 2 sweatshirts and turned the heat up to 68. I rarely have the heat past 67, and the sun was out all day. I was frozen. But I did work on an art journal page which is still not done, to take my mind off of being uncomfortable.

The watercolor girls above are from this past Saturday's livestream with Gulfsprite. Christy is stopping this at the end of this year. I will miss it, but I do understand as a teaching artist she wants to move on. She is still on Patreon, in case anyone is interested, and the top tier is only $10 a month.

I have one Canson Mixed Media journal complete, and the other which has more pages almost done. Started another Canson Mixed Media journal, but in the larger 11x16 (not sure, it might be 11x14 but I don't feel like going to see) size. I am adhering loose page artwork I have done in the past so I don't lose it, or have something get damaged.

Now that the eye protective plastic cup is off during the day, I can see more clearly to work. That is my plan for today. And then she laughed and laughed.....
