Missing in Action - no internet

Just messing in a journal with acrylic paints this time. Trying to reach a point where I feel comfortable using them on a face, and getting there. The earrings were punched out from a scrapbook paper.

A moment to reflect on the message. October is Breast Cancer Month Awareness. I cannot stress the importance of having a yearly mammogram. In years past the insurance companies, including Medicare, said you had to wait a full year and a day to schedule this test so it would be paid. Now it can be a month prior to the anniversary date. Or at least it was like this last year when I scheduled mine.

Early detection is the key to survival. The smaller the tumor, the less likely it has metastasized. I am a breast cancer survivor. I know this shit, so this is my little lecture on motivating women to have a mammogram. End of lecture. And Thank You.
