My personal rescue

November 7 - 13th is National Shelter Appreciation Week. Sarge didn't come from a shelter, but he was still a rescue. Please consider the adoption of an animal from a shelter.

The state of Missouri is to be congratulated. They passed the legislation that makes inhumane living conditions for animals in breeding facilities illegal. This is a direct slap to the puppy mills. Great job, Missouri residents! Now if we could only do that in Indiana.

The temperatures have dropped, and it is no longer just a little chilly. This morning it is downright cold. 29 degrees. My guys didn't want to stay outside long. Tomorrow morning we have sheepherding. I'll make sure Sarge has a blanket in the car while he waits for us. Mr. Elegant still won't look at the sheep, think about herding, or enter the pen. Sigh.
