This is the tag that almost, but not quite, ended my sewing on mixed media pieces. I ran out of thread in the bobbin, and it was a quest to reload. Sigh.
I like the texture and messiness of torn fabric and thread hanging off the ends. Some fabric curls when torn, as in the green check. Others fray more, like the black print. I love it all.
I am so, so far behind on taking the classes I signed up for for 2019. Just don't have the mental push to sit at the computer and watch the videos, then do the lessons. At this moment in time, I would rather just play. And that's okay. I would be seriously worried if I stopped art altogether right now.
10 more days of not being able to drive. Just 10.
