Leaving the oomfort zone behind

2nd spread in the soapHOUSEmama scrap journal

The orange paper is old Bo Bunny scrap book paper with a butterfly on it, to the right

This is pieces of scrap book paper with a brown lunch bag

I layered gesso,, then Portfolio oil pastels, and water colors

This large butterfly is a stamp I found on clearance

Her face has gesso and Daniel Smith water colors, a little oil pastel The entire time I was working on this, I kept thinking I was out of my zone, and uncomfortable. But I kept going forward, promising myself I would NOT abandon this spread.

So happy I didn't.

Sorry for the weirdness with the blog today, I am unable to get the cursor to the left as it should be. Keep getting messages from blogger that they are having problems. Just wanted to get these photos published.

Thanks for stopping by.
