Art Journaling

It was such a dismal day yesterday with no sun, so difficult to get some decent photos. I tried, folks.

This is the altered book I just started using as a journal. I first applied white gesso, then some craft paint and chalk paint, then removed circles through a stencil as Dina Wakely shows us, in a ton of videos and in person. As long as the gesso is down first, you can remove paint with a baby wipe. Just don't wait too long.

Circles then became the theme, and this was a lot of fun. It is helping me to limit my choices to 3 colors and 3 shapes. Now if I can just remember to do this consistently.....
