Hi. My name is Esmeralda. I have no shoulders.

So. This was a conglomeration of lessons from Ashli Oliver, Jodi Ohl, and Christy Sobolewski. I wanted to do a lot of shading with the pencil, prior to adding water color. Found out that is not, I repeat, not easy to work with once the water hits the graphite. About the only thing I like on this girl is the shading of pink on her cheeks and around the lips. I have no idea why she is looking up. Perhaps trying to figure out how to get away.....

If you don't post your failures, there is no incentive to get better. Sounds good anyway.
