Gracie, sensing the approaching storm last night

When I walked down the driveway yesterday morning to get the Sunday paper, I saw the flower bed in full bloom. In fact, I was amazed at how full everything is, considering rain fall is low again. Just had to snap a pic.

Gracie was pretty much of a mess last night. I think she was nervous with the heaviness of the atmosphere. The storm front did not hit us until 1a.m., and I woke up with the lightning strikes. Gracie was on the floor next to me. Poor baby.
