TBT

The above shots are from the Dog Splash Party held at the Plainfield Aquatic and Recreation Center every year. This is after the pool is closed for humans, and before the pools are drained for the winter to be cleaned, usually the 2nd weekend in September. The year was 2012. The Newfoundland is Coal, Carol's dog that passed from Lyme's disease 2 years ago. We miss him a lot.

Gracie would not go into the water. Neither would Jake, which surprised me. Jake likes little wading pools that we set up in the backyards. But this was intimidating, and he stayed with us on the edge. Gracie is probably watching Dega, who ran from one end of the pool to the other, having himself a fine time.

Yes, we are nuts. Why do you ask?
