Gracie kissing Jake

The frantic play has calmed down a bit. I think part of the reason is that both dogs now realize that this is the permanent situation. Jake is staying, Gracie has accepted that, and therefore they don't have to play constantly. So Gracie has taken to sometimes grooming her brother. Just his face. There is something about Jake's face that either fascinates my Aussie, or he tastes good. Jake allows this and actually seems to enjoy it. See above.

And then he'll get up, wait until she is lying in the grass all comfy, and attack. I laugh a lot.

Happy Father's Day to all. My dad has been gone 31 years, and I still miss him. He taught me a great deal, and I will be eternally grateful for our time together.
