 We are under a flood watch. At this point, I would prefer a nice thick snow. I feel like the backyard has turned into a swamp. 

I think the Pandemic has turned me into an antisocial hermit. All I want to do is walk the dogs and play in my various art journals. I received a pad of Rice paper for Christmas, and want to experiment on the gel plate with that. So many ideas...

It had been months, possibly a year, since I worked on Strathmore water color paper. I don't like it anymore. The graphite pencil grabbed too dark, I had forgotten how much water you need to move the paint around on that paper, etc. Good exercise to go back and revisit supplies. Good for my mental state as well.

Happy New Year. Mine will be spent with 2 dogs, one who will whine all day that she can't go to the dog park. Gracie has become unbelievably vocal in this past year. She's an Aussie! Linda
