Surviving in 2020

Burlap page in the large Dina journal. I saw Dina did this, so I had to try it

Abstract from a free Betty Krause workshop on Facebook

I took a walk Tuesday without the dogs. Felt guilty, but there is a valid reason. I so need to walk when I can, and Jake just can't do it anymore. His hind legs and hips must have arthritis, and all of the medications and supplements I have tried give him horrible side effects. This dog has the most sensitive digestive system I have ever encountered.  Anyway, they went to doggie day care for 6 hours of play, and mom went for a walk. Even though I left early, it was still hot and humid so I didn't walk as far as I think I should, but still got out in the fresh air. Away from the news. Away from the stress. It helped.

I am not doing as much art as I was. I think the weeks and months have had a cumulative effect on my creativity. It's just not there right now. The top page was done with Marabu acrylic crayons. Dina used her Scribble Sticks on the burlap and the Marabu are all I have, so wanted to try it. Just messing around. In the mood to try something, anything today. We shall see.

  1. Hi Linda,
Trying to figure out why I can't comment on your blog. I really like the abstract you did in Betty Klauses's class

  2. I don't have the comments turned off, so not sure, but this did show up in the comments indicator. What is it saying to you? I will also double check. Thanks for letting me know.
