Ripping out pages like a Madwoman

Flower inspiration for you

Colors!

All I got. Sorry not sorry
This page and another like it, with a girl drawn and painted on the page, took me hours. I handmade the paper borders, per a video from Gulfsprite. It looked interesting and was relaxing. The first page had tissue/deli paper under the drawing, and I screwed up the painting of the face. Every time I opened the journal, that page looked at me. So I tore it out.

Then (yes, it keeps getting better), I rewatched a journal flip from SewCrazi on YouTube. Pulled out a 12x12 stencil and some Dyan Reavley sprays, and did 2 pages in the journal. The start of background pages, I said. The Canson Mixed Media journal paper is thirsty. Very thirsty, so that spray just sunk into the paper. I then pulled out some acylic paint and started adding colors. The background turned into a hot mess, and rip!. ...the first page is still sitting in the journal because there is something I do like on the other side of the paper.

So. I have been working in the art studio. Just not producing anything to show.. The above page sucks eggs. I just felt like passing it along. Shit happens.
