Bright colors today to chase away the cold and wet. This winter has been a roller coaster ride in the Midwest. We have flooding everywhere, and now it's in the teens with high winds.
I have been watching various artists on Instagram who sketch daily. Something they have in common is sketching fast, and holding the pencil or charcoal at the very end, keeping the drawing loose. So the above sketch was done with a Stabilo graphite pencil and I promised myself I had to keep moving. I am pleased. I used a photo from Vanity Fair as inspiration and feel I did achieve my goal.
