Why yes, I am happy to see you

I have no explanation

A friend came by yesterday with a box full of home grown tomatoes, and a bowl of cherry tomatoes. He is so disappointed this year in the taste. We both agree that the regular size tomatoes are missing that acidity that gives them a fresh, just picked taste. The cherry tomatoes, on the other hand, are perfection.

But when he pulled out this little dude from the box, laughing, I said I want that. My intention was to take a pic and share with you. I have never seen a tomato with a growth. 

I believe I can now say that I've seen everything to see about tomatoes. Or not.
