The dogs and I took a nap yesterday and slept right through the afternoon thunderstorm. Afterwards, the light on the flowers was too good to pass up.
Came across an interesting link on Facebook this morning. I may have to plan a trip just to see this. There is a library in Brooklyn, NY of nothing but sketchbooks and art journals, from all around the world. How flipping cool is that? If you would like more information, the website is
here. Going to do some research and see if there is anything like this closer to the mid west. I find this fascinating. To me, there is nothing more inspiring than turning the pages of an art journal or sketchbook that someone else has made.
