Port Angeles

Port Angeles, WA. is a small town that sits on Puget Sound. It is a port to the Pacific ocean, so you will see freighters coming in. We did get the impression that the main industry in town is tourism, as the town is also the gateway to Olympic National Park. There is an abundance of motels and restaurants. Because I had been driving all day, some of it white knuckle down a mountain, Pat chose a restaurant just up the hill from our motel.

Dinner was a crab cake BLT on a homemade roll. I can't begin to tell you how good this was. We then walked down to the waterfront to take a few photos. A very quiet, relaxed interlude in our hectic vacation.

Have a great day.
Linda
