Lazy Summer Days

Life is not always fair or just. Things happen. These are truths that I know from my 63 years on this earth, and although it can sometimes hurt, you have no choice but to accept them. It is days (and weeks) like this that I am thankful for my dogs to hug, my friends to talk to. And the beauty of nature. I can always step outside my doors and see that beauty in bloom, all summer long.
