New Card

new card with absolutely no purpose
I follow various creative blogs everyday. Some are so inspiring, I do nothing. The designers do indeed inspire, but they also intimidate me to the point that I figure, why try? That is so wrong. One of these days I'll get over it, and just do it.

Most of the time I struggle with a layout, be it card or scrapbook page, or altered art. I have a canvas sitting in the studio that has some Tim Holtz tape attached around the edges. The rest is completely blank. Sitting on top of that canvas are images and bits of paper I cut, waiting for the project to come together in my ancient brain. Mind you, this canvas has been in progress for, oh, 2 months now. I need to get over it, and just do it.

Before that, I started a configurations box from Tim Holtz. You purchase the blank, empty box which is filled with smaller, different size boxes. What you do to those pieces or put inside of them is up to you. These are deep enough to be a shadow box type of deal. The project is sitting on top of the canvas project.

Are we getting the big picture here? I've turned into a major procrastinator who NEEDS TO GET OVER IT!

Someone, anyone, so needs to kick me in the ass. An ass-kick start. Exactly. Thanks for stopping by. Gracie and Sarge say WOOF.
