Moving right along....

Jake at the dog park. It was so hot!

WIP. I watched a video on YouTube. Of course I did.
If you want to use cheap acrylic paints in your art journal, it is almost mandatory that you have a minimum of 2 journals going. There is just a whole lot of waiting for stuff to dry when using paint. Or using Mat Medium in humid weather. I was trying to keep all of my Gulfsprite classwork, or live stream art in one journal, and everything else in another. Yeah, no, that idea went out the window a week ago.

The double page spread with the bunny is acrylic paint, stamping with Archival Cobalt ink, butterfly collage tissue from Dina Wakley, butterflies from Tim Holtz botanical pack, and graphite pencil for line work. The large letters are a very, very old foam stamp set from, I think, Memory Makers. Back in the scrapbooking days of yore.

Friday the 13th has acrylic paint in the background, with some scrapbook paper. I drew the girl in pencil, then painted her with Daniel Smith watercolors, and added some TomBow markers

Double page mess started with a collage of scrapbook papers, then paint, then stenciling with paint, some stamping of Seth Apter stamps, and now has gold Deco Foil on it that I can't get to reflect in a photograph. It will eventually be a background for something. I think. Every once in awhile I just like to do this. Takes me back to how I started in mixed media with online classes from Christy Tomlinson. Have yourself a great weekend. Just turned the ac off for a day. Love me some fresh air in the house.
