I traced the 3/4 face as a challenge, to learn the placement of eyes and mouth. When I draw this myself, I can get one element correct and the remainder of the face is always off. So my plan is to keep trying the tracing, until the angles and placement are embedded in my brain. Yeah, everyone have a good laugh with me. Used gouache for the base coats of background and hair, and around the eyes, then switched to Daniel Smith watercolors for the finishing touches.
