Monday


This tag was inspired by my friend, Cathy. She has turned meltdowns into a fine art, but we always use each other as vents.

I watched an interesting documentary about healing, and the connection with the mind and body, about 3 days after surgery. Some of what was said I just don't buy, but a lot of it has solid basis in science and medicine. With that thought in mind, I have made an effort to use visualization to release pain, angst, and toxic thoughts. Meditation in a form I can do. This doesn't have to be 15 minutes long, just a minute of breathing, eyes closed, and shoulders down. Good air in, toxicity out.

Try it. You just might like it.
