I am addicted to online classes. Stop me. Now.

This started as a gel printing exercise, moved on to adding splashes of color with the Catalyst wedge, then collage strips of scrap book paper. One of those days.

Just received an email from Kara Bullock Art Studios. No idea why, but my guess is I signed up for something along the line. Imagine that. Anyhooo, she is having a 40% off sale on her online classes, and one of those classes is by Emma Petit. Hmmmm. Emma Petit does these figures full of flowing lines, and slightly distorted women. I love her work. She is one of the many artists I follow on Instagram.  The sale ends tomorrow, so I must make a decision. Gee. Just not sure, should I?

Stop laughing.

PS: This is just my personal opinion. Because it is my blog. If your child is struggling to pass the entrance exams for the college of their choice, then they need to put down their phone, ipod, ipad, Xbox control, and drink, and try harder. Study. Apply yourself. Stop whining. If that same child has a parent purchase their way into any school, then the entire family is made up of wealthy idiots and should not reproduce. Think about this. You buy your kid a spot in school, is that kid going to apply themselves? Chances are no, they are not. They are going to whine their way through life, much like someone we all know now. Life is hard. Roll up your sleeves and do the work. One of the wealthiest people in music is Sir Paul McCartney. His second oldest daughter, Stella McCartney, wanted to be a designer from her teens. She worked for designers to learn the trade. She went to school. She put in the years to achieve the success she now holds. Her parents did not buy her way into the trade. They supported her choice. THAT, my friends, is being a parent. End of lecture. Go create!
