I have been recuperating from surgery, and this is the first day I have felt like sitting down and writing. Also, almost out of tags, but hoping to rectify that today as well.
It isn't that the pain is overwhelming. There is no pain, just a slight discomfort and soreness that moves around. I had a total hip replacement. I am already moving about the house on a walker like a speed demon. Cleaned, and tomorrow will attempt laundry. I can cook and do dishes. But I can't drive. Nope. Stuck in the house.
My new best friend is an ice machine the hospital sent home with me. Nothing like a numb area on your leg/thigh to kill the pain. Whatever works that is NOT Oxycontin or Oxycodone. I will never, as in never, take either of those drugs again.
So hopefully we are back to catch up time. Hopefully. I make no promises.
