Mother Nature gifted us with 71 degrees last Saturday. We spent almost 3 hours at the dog park enjoying the sun and warmth. Yesterday all hell broke lose. Rain all night and day, flooding of the yards, then turning to sleet and snow with more to come.

The dogs are like, "what the hell?" I agree. So today we look back at a summer of drought and heat. 2011 was when I adopted Jake from the shelter. By late summer, he was settled in and loving his new home.
